Seal Island, Cape Town – Meet Roberto the Seal

点评：Took the 40-minute boat trip to Seal Island—prices range from R120 to R150 depending on the operator, which is actually quite affordable for a fun little adventure on the water.
Before boarding, I spotted a lady at the pier feeding a seal and asked about him. She said his name is Roberto… so I guess he swam all the way from Italy just to hang out in Cape Town!
There’s plenty of parking around the area, and the trip itself was relaxed and enjoyable. Not much to see besides the seals, but for the price, it’s still a decent experience—just don’t expect a wildlife extravaganza.
One thing worth noting: I couldn’t find any life jackets on board. The captain said they were under the seat, but I didn’t see anything—maybe my eyesight isn’t as sharp as I thought. If I weren’t confident in my swimming skills, I might’ve been a little worried.
Still, it’s a quick and fun activity
