Many time repeat visitor - no longer free - surprise - but that's OK

点评：This is almost always a stop for me when visiting LA every few years. The experience is hard to beat. What I did not know until this time is that you can leave the tour after the grand salon and skip the upstairs rooms - musical instruments, objets d'art, collection and the organ. Don't get me wrong, the organ performance is a thing to DO, but I was running short of time and knew I wanted to spend time with the collection on the other side of the street as well. This option really makes the visit more efficient, though I will still spend a couple of hours. The quality of the cars in main salon is extraordinary, plus they open up a good number of them for interior viewing. Always feels like the basement tour should go on for 5-10 more minutes, but this time I was strategic and got all the photos in and saved chat for last. (Guides are more than willing to discuss) Bear that in mind - both the basement and grand salon tours are timed - photos first if you want them.
