A large public park complete with small viewing points, benches and beautiful foliage.

点评：A lovely park. I visited after going to Maritime Museum which was only a short walk away. I initially started on the top of the hill and realised later the other end of the park is right at the bottom, but it widens out. Coming from the University/Maritime Museum end the park is nicely nestled between some beautiful historical townhouses and the first small viewing area overlooking those to the east and a small lake.
I was able to do a circle round the park heading down the hill via the main paved walkway in the middle (I was surprised its quite steep, although it depends which route you take). Then I came to a large open grass area near the bottom and several small lakes to the sides with bridges and more footpaths to walk around. Heading up back up via a different pathway, slightly more undercover of the trees, there are several viewing points to admire the hills beyond giving good views over of the western side of the park and the rooftops beyond.
Its a peaceful park, with plenty of pathways, viewing points with benches and foliage. A nice attraction to finish off my visit to Bergen.
