What an amazing stop! Taylor Shellfish Farms in Bow is truly a gem. We enjoyed a wonderful view right over the water while tasting some of the freshest oysters I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly briny, chilled just right—absolutely unforgettable. We also ordered cold shrimp, and they were excellent, so sweet and fresh.
Service was good, and the drive out there is gorgeous—rolling farmland, water views, and that classic Skagit Valley charm.
💡 Travel Hack: If you’re up for a little adventure (and want to save a few dollars), skip sitting in the restaurant. Order from their takeaway instead! Get a pound of those amazing shrimp, grab some of their cocktail sauce, bring your own extras, and drive a few minutes north to Larrabee State Park—the oldest state park in Washington. It’s the perfect picnic spot with incredible views.
Either way, whether you stay and enjoy the view from their deck or head to the park, Taylor Shellfish is absolutely worth the stop! 🌊🦪🦐 Highly recommend.
