点评:This is a really nice little museum located on the second floor of a municipal building. One side is dedicated to the different wars. The other has the various artifacts one would find in such a museum. Of particular interest were photos taken by a local man at the end of World War II at the Liberation of Buchenwald. Supposedly there are more, but they are not on display. (I do not believe children should be exposed to a few of those photos).
On our way up a short hill from the parking behind the building, a man going down noted my "Air Force Retired" hat and told me to make certain I got a "goodie bag." The bag contained various things, including a letter from a child thanking the recipient for his/her service, a can of honey roasted peanuts, a scarf, and other things. It was really very nice. I'm so glad we went.
The museum, a book by a local lawyer and WWII GI and the goodie bag all were free.
