点评：We had visited this about ten years ago when we lived in GA and were about an hour away. This time we were about 1.5 hours west of here, in Seneca, SC visiting a friend who suggested we go and see it again.
So glad we did.
They held a WEDDING at the falls on that day (9/14/24), complete with benches around the area. Nice idea, but not private, since tourists--including us--were walking around the area, having to weave our way from the wedding party section to see the falls.
It was a combination of trying to jostle around benches and wedding guests and all of us who came here (and paid!) to see the falls. What they should have done was section off a time for no one to be there but the wedding party.
Not a very good idea for the wedding party, since all of us tourists--some with children--were in their way.
Overall it was nice to see the beauty of the falls.
Too bad us tourists couldn't stay because of the wedding; maybe next year we'll go back.
