Unforgettable experience for all ages!
National Eagle Center的点评
点评：I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha. As a wildlife enthusiast, I found it to be one of the highlights of my trip to southeastern Minnesota and well worth the one-hour drive from Rochester.
The staff and volunteers were outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about birds of prey. I attended the 45-minute eagle presentation, which was both educational and engaging for adults and children alike. I learned far more about bald eagles than I ever knew before.
The resident eagles are permanent ambassadors that can no longer survive in the wild, and the Center does an excellent job of explaining their stories while promoting conservation and appreciation for these magnificent birds.
I also loved the interactive exhibits upstairs. Comparing my grip strength to an eagle’s and discovering what my wingspan would need to be to match a bald eagle made the experience fun as well as educational.
Although I was disappointed that the river cruise was sold out, I still had a wonderful day exploring the Center and the charming historic town of Wabasha along the Mississippi River.
The perfect ending came after my visit when I looked up and spotted a wild bald eagle soaring high above the Mississippi. After spending the day learning about these incredible birds, seeing one free in the wild felt like the perfect finale.
If you’re visiting Rochester—whether for Mayo Clinic or simply exploring southeastern Minnesota—I highly recommend taking the drive to the National Eagle Center. It is an unforgettable experience for wildlife lovers of all ages.
