点评：We had to leave. We had reservations for 2 nights in Lower Wind River Campground. Our site was #9 on the river side of the north end of the campground. The campground was quiet and well maintained. The road traffic was noisey (it is RIGHT off the highway). There are also trains but we did not mind those. The site has numerous large cottonwood trees for shade. Was a very easy pull-thru and very level. Picnic table, fire ring w/grill grate. Clean vault toilets right across the camp road. Potable water right next to the site. We saw a flock of turkeys roost in one of our cottonwoods for the night as well as a mama and 8 babies. Upon arrival at the site there seemed to be swarming bugs of some sort flying around. They didn't bite. We noticed if you got near the tree trunks...they flew all around. As long as you sat in your chair they didn't really bother. We to bed...it was 100 degrees during the day and took a while to cool down. With no electric and we didn't take our generator...we turned in with the windows/door open but screens pulled. Noticed a couple of those little flying bugs had gotten in but no big deal. Around 12:30 AM the train came thru and I noticed our kitchen counter was COVERED with those bugs now. And they seemed to be increasing by the moment. Woke up to find our camp stove and picnic table around it, no exaggeration, at least 1 inch deep in those things. And if you moved...they swarmed. I had some sort of allergic reaction. We were packed up and moving up the road toward home by 8AM. We didn't even take time to make coffee. It's probably a seasonal occurance for there to be that many of them but we won't be back.
