State Museum "In Memory of the Victims of Repression"的点评
点评：Accompanied by my Tajik brother-in-law, who entered without charge due to local status, I visited the museum in Tashkent. I paid a modest fee that included entrance, photo permissions, and a personal English-speaking tour guide for a comprehensive tour. This represented excellent value, especially compared to the higher admission costs of institutions like those in Istanbul. My previous attempt to visit a similarly named museum in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, had been unsuccessful due to its closure, making this visit particularly satisfying.
The guided tour was exceptional and is highly recommended, as English captions are sparse; the guide effectively removed any language barriers. Interestingly, we were the sole visitors at 11 AM on a Sunday. The museum is housed within a remarkable building, complemented by appealing surrounding attractions including monuments, memorials, gardens, and a nearby river.
