点评：Location of the site is well away from any major roads, railways and flight paths; it is nice, quiet, peaceful and not over crowded.
Its also well sited to visit most attractions/places, with a nice beach and canal in Bude just 40 mins drive away.
We stayed in one of the lakeside lodges, which was well equipped and clean.
It was just a short stroll (30ft) to the lake (Jenny Wren) from the lodge.
The staff member greeting us in the reception/shop was very friendly and helpful; as were all the staff we interacted with.
The fishing was very good, Jenny Wren has a good head of Tench; the sizes caught ranged from just under a pound to 5 1/2 pounder but not the biggest in the lake, which I have been told is around 7 pounds.
Kingfisher, the carp lake; gave me a 13 pound ghost carp.
The restaurant/club house was well worth the visits;
as with all of the site, its very clean and well maintained.
The food was lovely and very filling; its great value for money, better than a pub.
My wife does not fish, but she enjoyed the lodge just sitting on the decking watching the wild life come out of the woods; the birds feeding from the bird tables. Or reading her books.
When I was not fishing we visited places in Devon and Cornwall.
