点评：Had an absolutely fantastic night with John and his sister Martina who served up a Christmas menu that tasted like more! We started with a Bacon and Cabbage sliotar which is a deep fried version of a lovely Irish dinner. We moved on to the "moist" turkey and stuffing course next served with fried brussel sprouts-only way I will eat them from here on in. A sneaky little sorbet was handed out-a creamy raspberry refresher that everyone had seconds if not thirds of!
The main of Rib Eye steak which we watch John carve from a huge lump of meat, season, grill and rest whilst we watched was the best steak I've had bar none. This was served with a cheesy mash, tender beef cheek and an onion and carrot-which tasted better than any onion or carrot I've ever eaten. To finsih, he played down the most stunning dessert of Apple with caramel and creamy yoghurt. It was such a fun night as we chatted and laughed with John and Martina. Shoutout to Mags, Dermot and Ed who were a great laugh too. We will defo return and you have got to see John's grill. Finally, the decorations for Christmas were some of the best I've seen-who else could have a Darth Vader Christmas tree!! Sorry, no photos-we were having too much craic. And I also can't describe well how good the food tasted and how much we enjoyed the night bantering with John, Martina and the other guests. Book it-you wont regret it.
