点评：The old distillery was located near the railway station until around 13 years ago and now has been moved to a new location and it is wonderful where they are making the Brandy. It was a little bit difficult to find as a pedestrian and we had to take a bus. The bus we took was the 171 and we got off at the stop Rudesheim Friedhof (cemetery) Then walk down hill 2 minutes and take the road on the right called Ingelheimer-Asbach-Strasse. The winery then is on the left side of the road. By a huge margin the Brandies, chocolates and gifts are the cheapest in Rudesheim. Do not waste your time buying from local stores or tourist traps. The Asbach distillery and visitors centre is excellent as well you can purchase tastings of the various vintages. The staff speak both German and English and they are friendly, patient, kind and informative. This was one of the highlights of our vacation here.
