Peaceful Evening at La Motte
La Motte Wine Estate的点评
点评：We visited La Motte for wine tasting and dinner. We had booked the 4pm wine tasting on a Saturday, but upon arrival realised that a reservation was not necessary, as there were plenty of tables available in the tasting area. Dinner was booked through Dineplan with a deposit.
The reception area and gardens were especially beautiful and made a strong first impression upon arrival. The wine tasting experience was well presented and enjoyable.
We had an hour between the end of wine tasting and our dinner reservation, which we spent exploring the grounds. One of us had significant safety concerns about South Africa. The peaceful hour in exploring the gardens and estate at our own pace helped allay some of her fear.
I must admit that I overestimated our ability to enjoy a full dinner after a day of wine tasting. Although our appetites were somewhat diminished by then, the meal was excellent. The atmosphere was calm, refined, and a fitting end to our visit.
