点评:Went round this museum on a Sunday. It was a quiet visit with few other visitors in evidence.
The museum is set in a number of adjoining properties. It contains displays charting the history of fishing through the ages from the time when it was done from on shore through the introduction of human powered boats, sail boats through to steam powered boats. Lastly there is a display about the current and future of fishing. There are many boats some small eg coracles right up to large larger boats. There are examples of the item used in the different means of catching fish, the equipment on boats and the lifestyles of those involved.
It is a much larger than it appears from the outside and interesting but in someways slightly traditional in having little hands on things you can do. It is however interesting and informative.
