Signature bunkers ruin an otherwise good course.

点评：After playing the spectacular Crowbush a few days earlier, my wife and I chose Dundarave as our other round before leaving P.E.I.. After a long stretch of incredibly hot weather, it finally rained overnight. Unfortunately, the famous red clay bunkers of Dundarave do not take water well. Practically every single one turned into an unplayable deep pond. Even recovering your ball was impossible after it disappeared into the dark red water. If the main attraction of your course is underwater after a brief rain, that's a problem. Our group paid full price to loose several balls that should have been in play. Also, the holes are very far apart, making the course extremely difficult to walk, which isn't an ideal design. Otherwise, some nice views, the holes themselves were good, nice greens, friendly staff and included range balls.
