Nice area for shops, galleries, and restaurants but beware the hill
Park City Main Street Historic District的点评
点评:I had the chance to wander Main Street over three days and there are definitely some good and bad sides. First and foremost, it is quite pretty (the street itself and the scenery around it). You can get on the town lift from here as well as shop for clothes, art, food, trinkets, etc. You can also find many of the popular restaurants here or on the streets to either side of Main. It is walkable, but beware the altitude plus the fact that you have to walk straight up hill. I am no marathon runner, but I live at 7000 feet myself and I was still pretty winded after a few blocks straight up hill. Of course, the trip back down is nice. Parking is not nice - many lots are free until evening, but others charge the moment you pull in so choose carefully. I went one day and paid nothing for a couple hours downtown as the lot was free until 6 pm. The next day, I wasn't as lucky and ended up paying $14 for two hours. Then I found another free lot until 5 pm. If you can take advantage of one of the shuttles from a hotel or resort, they will make the experience more pleasant as you just get to wander and sight see.
