Disappointing experience – scheduled wine tasting was not honored

点评：We had been looking forward to visiting Wach Jean in Andlau and had arranged a wine tasting with the producer several months in advance. To be sure, we reconfirmed the appointment a couple of weeks before our holiday. Despite this, no one was present when we arrived on the agreed day – the place was closed.
As a result, we lost most of an afternoon during our holiday in Alsace due to their failure to honor the appointment. What made it worse was that no effort was made afterward to salvage the situation.
We’ve actually experienced a similar situation once before at a different winery. In that case, they took full responsibility and even sent us two bottles of the wines we were supposed to taste, as a gesture of apology. That kind of professionalism makes all the difference – sadly, Wach Jean chose a different approach.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend a visit here if you expect reliability and a minimum level of customer care.
