Lovely Setting and Great Food, Let Down by Staff Behaviour

I usually love visiting The Berry Farm a couple of times each season. It’s a really nice spot — family-friendly, with a great kids’ playground, volleyball, and basketball areas that make you feel very welcome. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food always tastes great.
That said, the prices are getting hard to justify. A bowl of chips was around $12, which only feels worth it if you get their aioli (it’s amazing).
Unfortunately, my last visit wasn’t as enjoyable as usual. While waiting for my ice cream, I heard someone yelling inside the building — a white man shouting at an Asian woman. I recognized him as the same guy I’d seen on a previous visit smacking a woman’s bum in the kitchen, which was really inappropriate and uncomfortable to witness. It was quite unsettling.
To make things worse, I also noticed one of the waitresses picking at the inside of her mouth and brushing her hair with her hand before taking food to customers — not exactly what you want to see in a food service setting.
I’ve had many good experiences at The Berry Farm, but this visit left me disappointed. I really hope management looks into staff behaviour and hygiene because it’s such a lovely place otherwise.
