Something different to do and learn all about truffles and get to pat a gorgeous dog!

点评：There are various experiences to be had here but we did the top event which is going out truffle hunting with the dog and then back to the pavilion for a 7 course degustation with wine. Started in pavilion with a glass of champagne before walking out to the oak woods with the owner and his dog. There were 22 of us but it didn’t feel crowded and we all had a good view of truffles being unearthed. We found about six (in an hour) and then headed back. The meal was interesting with truffles used in every course. The chef told us what we were eating before each plate but it would have been useful to have a menu printed out because most dishes were weird and wonderful and chef talked very fast so really had no clue what I was eating. We were given one glass of white wine and one glass of red wine but not told which wine to drink with each course. Also at $250 a head I feel a free top up should have been offered if needed. The owner gave a hilarious and informed speech while we were eating which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. An enjoyable time but more dog interaction would have been appreciated. Owner did say we would meet more during visit but we only got to meet the one
