Dil, the professional guide that become a friend
Musical Adventure Trekking - Day Tours的点评
点评：I still remember when I first thought about going by jeep until the Solu Khumbu region ;) As I was planning by myself all that comes with the adventure of making the EBC Trek, this was a really important part. I encounter this website, and I was already happy with the way the information was exposed on it. But when I started to send and receive emails from Dil Gurung I was super pleased with his professional way of working, the kindness and of course the total readiness to answer back the soon as possible. He was always there to make sure I knew how things would work and to trust what I had just booked.
Then me, my boyfriend and two friends met him in the office, in Kathmandu. We were there for almost an hour. It was a really good moment as I could already feel as if I met him for a long time. He explained in detail all about the jeep tour and more than that, he gave us lots of advice for the trek.
The jeep tour was awesome! One day and a half of pure fun, astonishing landscapes, and adventure with both the guides that were amazingly professional driving the jeeps through so much technical and difficult terrain. I really loved this experience. It changed the way our EBC trek started and they could get us as far as possible by jeep, Thamdanda.
Then after 2 weeks, back in Kathmandu, Dil invited us to join him at a local coffee where we could thank him and talk a lot about the trip and about the places where we have been, and most of all, about people and culture of Nepal and Khumbu. Before we left Nepal, we did a walk through Kathmandu Thamel, with Dil being our guide. I will never forget the tasty lassi he gave us to try and the things he explained to us along the way.
We left Dil Gurung as a true friend. And for sure when I come back I will meet him again and trust the professionality of Musical Adventure Trekking =)
