Was okay, not worth over £500
Allen Gardiner River Cruise Restaurant的点评
点评：Booked for a family celebration. As stated on website minimum of 8 passengers, maximum of 12. No where does it state or did they make us aware when telling them it was for a surprise birthday, that when you book if you don’t fill all 12 seats other people will be joining you on said cruise. Which is very awkward all sat around a dinner table with 2/3 people you don’t know and then sharing the food!
Sat down for food within 5 minutes of departing, all of it slathered in garlic chunks and the fish was not from a ‘local producer’ it was Aldi. Along with the dry salad of cabbage, radish, broccoli and crispy onions??
Service was okay. Team were friendly enough. We brought our own birthday cake, which they wanted a fee for us to eat onboard!! £2.50 a head no less!
Leaking ceilings with yellow water, no apologies given for any misinformation and then wanted a £30 service charge!
Cruise itself was pleasant sitting outside watching the surroundings but I don’t feel worth over £500 for the 8 of us.
Would not recommend for big groups or for any special occasion.
