点评：This trip could not have gone better for us — a magical tour of Wales with daily personal touches that showed Sophie Crabtree did her homework on our group, and listened carefully along the way. It didn’t take long to learn who really looked for good coffee (which made for the perfect stop in Pembrokshire), ice cream (just the place in Hay-on-Wye), castles (everywhere!), pubs (the most iconic of many found at Tafarn Sinc) and “retail therapy” as we learned of the long, proud, musical, and beautiful history of this land of my inlaws’ ancestry.
Her choice of driver, Roy from Roy’s Travels, not only expertly guided us the entire week, but proved to be quite the raconteur himself, adding to the experience. And her personal network of contacts that included Welsh folk historian and author Russ Williams is something we could not have hoped to find anywhere else. This was not a cookie-cutter tour. It was a thoughtfully-curated, expertly presented, fun, informative, inspiring (and delicious) tour of Wales that our entire crew will take with us for the rest of our lives.
Sophie Crabtree and her network of associates loves Wales and delights in showing the very best of it (which is a lot to show) to the world. Her approach is personal and deeply knowledgeable, and her passion for this country is infectious.
