We have visited the Land of Oz - I mean Chittenango a few times. This is the town where Wizard of Oz Author L Frank Baum was born. Each time we visit, we make sure to stop into the All Things OZ museum.
At this museum, You will be whisked away to the Emerald City. Artifacts from various productions of OZ-Related movies, tv shows, cartoons, broadway shows, etc, are all on display. Of course, there are a lot of artifacts & books related to L Frank Baum.
The museum is a lot of fun, and the artifacts and trinkets they have on display will bring a smile to any true Green Oz fan.
We visited most recently during the 2024 Oz-Stravaganza festival - and of course, it was busy. You can visit the museum at any time of the year to avoid the crowds. The gift shop has many great items, like t-shirts, books, key chains, and so much more. So, the next time you are looking for your heart’s desire… follow the yellow brick road to the land of Oz - and the All About Oz Museum inn Chittenango NY.
