I expect to queue but they've gone out of their way to make it as miserable as possible.
Cbeebies Land的点评
点评：We went to Alton Towers with the kids and spent most of the day in CBeebies Land. Everyone had an okay time, but honestly it could have been so much better. The whole of Cbeebies land just felt a bit tired and neglected.
The queues were the biggest problem:
- No shade or shelter in any of the queues — nowhere to escape sun or rain
- No way to leave the queue to take a child to the toilet and come back
- Interactive elements in the queues were all broken — every single one and I really mean every single one.
- Long waits made worse by bored kids with nothing to do
- No updates or compensation when rides broke down mid-queue (Octonauts did this to us and had to wait an extra 30 minutes at the front of the queue)
Some of the attractions felt very half-hearted. JoJo and Gran Gran’s house was meant to be interactive but what little was there barely worked. It's not much more than just a big empty room. Justin’s House had loads of broken air cannons and the general theming across the rides was really basic, especially considering how strong the CBeebies brands are.
Then at the end of the day, the monorail was running reduced service with a 40 minute wait right when everyone needed it most. Why?
It’s a shame because there’s clearly potential here, but it's like they haven't actually thought of what it's like to be here with young kids, and this was on a weekday in term time so goodness knows how awful it is during the holidays. Until they sort out the queues and fix what’s broken, it’s not something I’d rush back to.
