Great for an afternoon out, plenty of space to swim and play

点评：After promising our 12 year old all day we would go swimming late afternoon, we were nearly put off by a quick look at the terrible recent reviews. It was only because she was super disappointed that we said we'd pop in and have a look to see what it was like. We were pleasantly surprised, we asked to look at both indoor and outdoor areas before deciding, outside looked lovely, grass was cut, lots of people sunbathing, plenty of loungers. However inside had more slides and pools to pick from so we opted for that. There was a large deep pool for swimming and diving in the deep end, floats, 3 slides suitable for different ages, jacuzzi, couple of splash areas for very little ones, and a few different pools to explore. Plenty of seating areas to relax in between swimming, saw some mums reading while the kids ran around, some in the sunshine as there was a glass roof. The facilities were clean and tidy, plenty of changing rooms and lockers- as others have noted, your ticket is to get in, access your locker and get out (as it checks how long you've been in - if you've gone over your allotted time you need to pay a bit extra for your visit). There's free parking on site, there's carports on both sides of the road. Yes not super modern, but not really sure why that would be a problem, facilities were well kept and in decent condition. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience, reasonably priced entertainment for a couple of hours. We didn't have food there so can't comment on that :)
