Hellidon Lakes Spa & Wellness Centre的点评
点评：We (2) visited Hellidon Lakes Spa for an afternoon spa session (2–6pm) and was left extremely disappointed. The setting, views, and treatments were lovely, but unfortunately, everything else fell short.
The spa was unclean, with dirty floors, damp throughout and a noticeable bad smell. The sauna was out of order, and although the hydropool looked nice at first glance, it was poorly maintained and underwhelming.
The food and service were appalling - we were served the wrong meal (not gluten-free as ordered) and while we were still eating the chips that came with our meal, the waitress suddenly took them away (claiming they weren’t ours), with no explanation or apology. If the chips had been delivered to our table by mistake and we were halfway through eating them, you’d expect them to be left with us. Instead, they were taken in a rushed, almost careless manner, as if needed at another table. We also had to request drinks multiple times at the spa reception, which only arrived 30 minutes after we’d finished eating.
This place has potential but is let down by poor maintenance, bad service and a lack of basic care - for the price charged, it’s simply not worth it.
I won’t be returning, and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it to others.
