Damascena Ethnographic Complex的点评
点评：Was planning to visit Damascena Ethnographic Complex for a long time. I am Bulgarian but haven’t lived in Bulgaria for 35 years. Wanted to show my husband who is American the beautiful Rose Variety! Was a weekend and there were groups of tourists arriving. We noticed several Americans from near by NATO Base. Tickets were kind of expensive and there was no tour guide. We were handed a brochure with information where to go. First we saw a strange fixture of the Statue of Liberty with a dragon tail and broken metal chains over the world glob, I guessed symbolizing freeing the world only to take advantage for monetary gains. Was like a slap in the face! My husband didn’t even wanted to continue with the tour around the complex but we walked around to see the beautiful roses and read about ancient Thracians.
On the way out of the complex at the front a trance there was a large rock painted like the American flag, a cherub ( little boy) on top, wrapped with the American flag, urinating over the world! A very Disrespectful and Offensive message about USA!
When I asked at the ticket booth to speak with the manager on duty about the anti American display, I was told I quote “ This display is purposely there to express the owner’s attitude towards America! To make his political statement! “
What a disgrace! The owner showed his arrogance and ignorance towards another nation.
Wrong place to make a political statement! I DO NOT RECOMMEND Damascena Ethnographic Complex to anyone.

真是丢脸！店主对另一个国家表现出了傲慢和无知。
发表政治声明的地方不对！我不会向任何人推荐大马士革民族志综合体。
