Foggy Bottom Canoe的点评
点评：We had a pleasant two-hour kayak trip. However, the one-star rating is due to the staff's disrespect for customers.
First, a group of us, including a child under the age of ten, was shuttled via van to the river. Meanwhile, the Foggy Bottom driver played a song over the speakers that was filled with curse words. No f-words, but still inconsiderate and not at all age-appropriate.
That was nothing compared to what happened later.
After arriving back at the office building to drop off paddles and use the restroom, several employees were sitting around playing explicit music SO LOUDLY and with a PLENTITUDE of f-words (and just general sentiments of hatred). And I don't mean the volume was "a little uncomfortable" -- I mean it was "stick your fingers in your ears," "standing on the tarmac as a full size jetliner takes off" loud. Unbelievably disrespectful. I don't know if there were children around at this time or not, but they wouldn't have to be anywhere NEAR to hear THIS.
Young or old, in this already broken world, your staff isn't helping anyone by playing (or blasting) music that brings us down even more. I'll be looking for an alternative kayak rental business next time.
