Unforgettable family experience
A New Dig的点评
点评：My husband heard about doing a fossil dig while watching a nature show with the kids a while back and had it stuck in his head that we had to do this. I booked with A New-Dig after hearing that the older site had gotten rather crowded. A New Dig was fantastic. There was one other couple digging the same day as us but the quarry was huge so there was no issue of crowding. And the owner Clay could not have been more helpful. He spent lots of time showing us how to break the rocks and get the fossils out when we found them. And he helped us find some amazing specimen to take home. Do not be deterred by spending hours in the sun. We were there from about 10am-1:00pm and my older son and husband didn't want to leave. This was such a fun and unique experience. We collected a big bucket-full of fossils. We've been home for 3 weeks and the kids are still talking about the fossils and enjoying polishing them and giving some away as gifts. This experience was priceless.
I cannot say enough good things about Clay. He was so kind to my two young kids (aged 5 and 8) and generous with us with his time and knowledge. He was a phenomenal host and I hope more people come to visit him here.
