Best time I've had in a long time!

点评：In August 2025 I had a wonderful and successful experience finding trilobites with Clay and Jessica. I hadn't been able to reach them by phone because, I later found out, they don't have a cell phone signal at the quarry. So my advice to anyone is if they don't call you back right away that's because they are at the quarry. When they are at the quarry you don't need a reservation, just go. Clay and Jessica are the owners and they are the miners. They are the real deal. This is a no-frills set up, but if authenticity is what you are looking for then this is where you want to go. You can camp at the quarry and a wonderful artesian water spring is located on site. To get there just stay on the road as you pass U Dig Fossils and their quarry is just a few hundred yards up the road.
All summer long I do a lot of prospecting from N. Michigan to Utah and coming to Clay and Jessica's quarry was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Note - I also found more fossils and some nice lapidary materials while hiking in the surrounding hills.
