点评：The journey up to the little church was honestly terrifying for me. The dirt road is extremely rough and steep—you definitely need a powerful car and a confident, experienced driver. This isn’t a road to take lightly.
We managed to park just outside a small taverna at the base of the hill. It was a welcome stop where we could have some refreshments and use the toilet before heading up.
There are several steps leading to the church itself. Once you reach the top, the panoramic views are absolutely stunning and worth the effort. It was a bit disappointing to learn that the original icon is no longer there—it’s now permanently housed in the Church of Chora.
Still, the church has a peaceful atmosphere. You can light a candle and write in the prayer book—asking for health for your loved ones or honouring those who have passed. Despite the tough journey, the experience was meaningful.
