点评：I travel to the Dordogne most year's with my family, and i try to get out bird watching for at least one day with David as my guide. I have known David for a number of years now and his enthusiasm for the birds, wildlife and flowers of the Dordogne never subside.
He is able to provide a flexible itinerary for a full days bird watching, and can draw on his many years experience in the area to keep the day interesting even in unproductive weather or at less productive times of the year.
As an example; i wasn't expecting the greatest days birding in the middle of August on my most recent trip, however a little bit if early migration coupled with a lucky turn in the weather over night meant that we saw some great birds. The highlight for me being amazing views of a black stork circling directly overhead and then heading off South. Large numbers of honey buzzards and black kites were also seen to move off South for the winter!
He is also happy to communicate before and after the trip, to try and get you onto birds that might be in the area, if you do any birding by yourself.
I couldn't recommend David's trips highly enough. If you have an interest in any form of wildlife, butterflies, bird watching or flowers and are visiting the Dordogne you should book a trip with David immediately!
