Still a great golf weekend resort

点评：Visited on Saturday 08th June 2024 having first visited for a similar golf weekend on Sunday 11th July 2021. On both occasions, it was part of a 2-day, 1 Night Bed, Dinner & Breakfast with 2 round Golf Weekend. Again on both occasions, we stayed at the Willows Training Centre rather than the main complex as it was about £40 a night cheaper with the same terms. On this occasion for the evening meal, there seemed to be a change in policy regarding access to the buffet over a bar meal, as on our previous visit we were able to access the buffet but on this booking, we were told only the bar menu was available. Fortunately having asked reception if we could access the build-a-burger buffet the course attendees were using we were able to. It seemed pointless limiting golfers to the bar menu rather than simply continuing to allow them access to the buffet. Within the dining and bar/games area, there are pool tables, games consoles as well as an upstairs area with dart boards and a fuseball table. The golf was as good as on our last visit and we look forward to returning. My only suggested change would be to provide a discount at the spa for those staying at the resort as it would encourage use.
