The beach in Bundoran is absolutely stunning - a perfect backdrop for a fun day out. We spent time at the amusement park which was enjoyable overall. However, I ended up buying far too many tickets (note: the game stands don't accept ride tickets and require separate payment. Unfortunately I had a bad accident on the bumper cars. Even though there was a notice about no head on collisions. Another rider came straight at me and my knee slammed into the front of the car. I was in excruciating pain. My knee was bleeding and badly bruised. In the middle of the chaos, a wonderful woman in a green and white dress came to my aid and helped me stay calm through the panic. I'll never forget her kindness. The staff were also incredibly professional and helpful, and the nurse on site was fantastic. Later we had delicious pizza from Mamma Rosa's on the main street and enjoyed some amusement games. Despite the accident. I would definitely return. Just a word of caution to be extra careful on the bumper cars!
