Good course, great people, premium price for non residents

点评：TPC Louisiana is 25 min from the airport set on a flat area with many cypress trees, water, pot bunkers, waste bunkers and undulated greens... ie, Pete Dye. With all the water, in reality only two holes did you have to "carry water" but water would come into play if you hit an errant drive or slice some second shots.
Sam in the pro shop, when I called was very helpful... as an out of towner, you pay a premium, but if you are military or retired, they do offer a generous discount. I walked the course since it was CPO the afternoon I was there. Greens and fairways in great shape and bunkers in good to very good shape. Doglegs, waste bunkers and some water make this an interesting course but certainly not too difficult and not visually stunning. There are no houses on the course and we saw plenty of gators, herons, hawks and other birds. I did not use the practice facility or the clubhouse.
Would go again... not worth $200 but visually pleasing and challenging for a flat course.
