The Rutland Antiques Centre的点评
点评：Not the best experience. Whilst in the store, the owner was going mental at another chap telling him he was barred.
The chap was somewhat thrown aside stating that an exchange of selling an item was to his knowledge, genuine and honest.
It appears that because the owner made a misjudgment and couldn’t make a profit from his purchase, he insisted the seller buy it back after a month of trying to sell it without success?
I’m no professional to the antiques industry, but it was very apparent that the owner was a horrible, tight, egg on his face type of chap. I don’t think I will be going here anymore.
It became quite apparent that the owner has significant sour grapes and is a really nasty person. The innocence of the seller (who claimed he has spent over £9k with him in the last year simply said, “well you valued it. You offered me the amount as a specialist. How was into know it wasn’t as old as you thought it was. I’m not the expert!”)
It wasn’t the most pleasant of situations, and it was clear that the own was rude and obnoxious.
I’ll be obliging this place at all costs in future. If this is his attitude, how do I know he’s merchandise is genuine…..
