Small, quiet beach with turquoise water & charm

点评：Ta Yai Beach is a small but very charming beach on Koh Larn. The bay is not big, which makes it feel more quiet and manageable compared to the busier beaches. The water is turquoise and clear, with yellow buoys marking a safe swimming zone. At low tide, the sandy section becomes wider and offers plenty of space.
What I liked: sunbeds with umbrellas are available at a very moderate price (100 THB), there’s a restaurant right on the beach (with toilets), and the atmosphere felt relaxed and not crowded. It’s also a nice spot for photos, with a wide view and soft light. The beach was relatively clean, probably thanks to its smaller size.
What could be improved: with a bit more care from guests and staff, it could easily become a true hidden gem.
Overall, Ta Yai was my favorite among the beaches I visited on Koh Larn – small, pretty, peaceful, and with that special island charm.
