Amazing place to bike or hike

点评：Wow- what a place! We went twice during our week. Hubby biked and I hiked. First I did the West and the South loop. Make sure to take a picture of the trail map and using the numbers at the intersections will help out the most. But some of the intersection numbers on the map do not have corresponding posts/signage on the trail. For instance, there is no "2" intersection. Gorgeous trails. Some are on pastures, but I loved that too- all the butterflies and dragonflies and as I'm walking crickets are jumping along the path. Tons of wildflowers. It is so neat to see how much of the acreage is maintained for the disc golf- it is absolutely gorgeous. Then, go into the forest and just soak in the nature. Down at the furthest point on the West loop is great views of the river and it's just a few steps to get on the riverbank. Get back on the path close to bluffline, go just a few steps to the waterfall. Took tons of pictures. There were just 2 other cars when we arrived early one morning and a rider had said that there was some erosion on bluffline. So, I felt pretty comfortable there would be no riders on bluffline, so I hiked the whole trail and back. Just a couple of places where it could get dicey if a hiker met a biker. Most of the trail is not actually on a bluff- it's the portion furthest away that is narrow with a drop-off. Hiked over 6mi each day. I liked both paths- very different and both great. Restrooms are clean, place to hang out is great, and there is also a pump track and skills area for bikes. I only hiked and I had a wonderful time.
