点评：We drove to the UP from the Twin Cities Area- About a 3 hour drive to get there, we made it a day trip and it was gorgeous despite some rain! We brought our puppy and went on some of the beautiful trails that make you feel like you're in the Pacific Northwest. There were hiking trails once you cross the suspension bridge, but also paved trails in the park when you arrive, as well as a boardwalk on the river you can fish off of. There are many waterfalls to hike to, or you can drive directly to them if you take the road on the other side of the river. We hiked to two but then with the rain coming down harder we opted to drive to the trail head and walk the short distance to each falls. If waterfalls are your thing this is the perfect day trip for you. We only saw a few people this time of the year, and due to the weather not many people were out. I would highly recommend it for awesome views, great trails, and SO many waterfalls it was wonderful. I will visit again, definitely!
