Thrilled with their planning and care--trip of a lifetime for a family of four

点评：I could not have been happier with Luis, Paula, and the Hidden in Spain team. We just returned from our 11-day trip to Southern Spain as a family of four and had the most wonderful time.
From the outset, we took advantage of Hidden in Spain's great tour suggestions but asked for customization based on the number of days we were going and things we most wanted to see. We were a particularly challenging tour time because our trip also spanned Christmas and New Year's holidays when many things were closed.
The Hidden in Spain team handled and thought of everything--quick email responses, booking all of the hotel and train tickets, planning the shows and other tours, and help finding great restaurants on holidays when things were closed. We had a great experience from being picked up at the airport (so nice after a long day of travel in an unknown place) to the ride back.
We thought every tour guide was wonderful--it was so nice to get private tours in English catered to our family (that included teenagers) so we could really focus and enjoy everything. We learned so much and loved getting to chat with local experts. We felt very welcome and well cared for.
The hotels the team selected were ideal--small boutique places that I would have never found on my own and really added to the experience overall. Everything was centrally located, safe, and clean.
Before the trip, Luis sent an extensive document with information, contact info, names, and maps for every single day and every single event on our trip. We looked at the document multiple times every day as we went through the trip and always had what we needed. We noted that the itinerary felt very well balanced: great things to do every single day but with enough down and unstructured time that we could also explore on our own and not get too tired.
In total, we had one of our absolutely best vacations ever. My husband and I have often commented that in family vacations that you have to choose between "relaxing" and "adventure" when you're taking kids because if you are trying to go out and about in the city and see all of the sights it is very stressful and if you go to a resort, you often just sit at the pool. This was a great and rare example of "adventurous AND relaxing" because the Hidden in Spain team took care of almost every detail that would have been stressful for us so we could just show up and enjoy.
I just wish they did tours everywhere in the world. :) If we return to Spain/Portugal, we will absolutely return, and I recommend them most highly.
