Columbia Trail的点评
点评：Columbia Trail starts in the town of High Bridge, NJ. There is ample parking for some 50 car starting May 2023. This is at the end of the small main street with a few shops for food and drinks. A new bike shop just opened 300 feet from this entrance. There are Gnome houses the first mile of the trail. It is a crushed gravel wide path through a tree lined route. If the weather is not above 75 degrees, it gets quite cool along the trail. There is no sunshine and a sweater or jacket may be needed especially on a bike A stop in Califon, NJ is where you can visit a very old general store for food/drinks/rest. Continue a few more deserted mile to Long Valley, NJ where it crosses a major road and a there is a coffee shop open even on Sundays. You can continue to the end, almost arriving at Rt 206, short by a few miles. There is cell service up to Califon, not sure after that. I usually travel on Sunday and it can be deserted in most areas. There are a few benches on the path.
