Beware of parking fines!

点评：I booked 3 tickets at a cost of £37, for myself and my grown student children to watch Mando. We grabbed a very quick bite to eat before rushing to the cinema, only to sit through 25ish minutes of adverts, trailers and informationals, which seems standard practice now. Had a lovely night and went home happy.
To my astonishment, 2 weeks later I was issued with a fine for £100 for parking for 3hr 11m on that night. Apparently this is beyond the 3 hours limit you are allocated to eat and watch a film!
I have since found that you need to find a rather small and badly placed tablet within the cinema, and enter your car registration in order to be graced with a 5 hour window allowance.
How was I to know this? I saw no signs, or notices within the cinema. Nobody told me this was in practice. I have been going here for years. It never used to be like this.
The whole night has ended up costing me a small unnecessary fortune and it will make me think twice about revisiting in the future.
