点评：Villa Russiz is more than a winery, it is a place with a strong connection with the territory and the community. We booked a wine tour and the most impressive part was learning about the history and projects taken forwards in support of disadvantaged children. Part of the proceedings go in support of their social projects, and the legacy of the founders keeps on giving almost 200 years later, which is really moving.
The wine produced is also very impressive with good whites and reds. Only downside for me was the tour being a bit slow and not very engaging (I recommend not taking children, although I tried elsewhere and it was a more engaging experience for all). Perhaps we were unlucky as we ended up doing the tour with another group, so the person had to split her time between two rooms for the wine tasting, and it felt it was dragging along for too long.
I think time/groups management and the description of the wine tasted could improve. If I read from their website the different wines compositions and descriptions directly it helped a bit, but it would have been better if that was outlined by staff more thoroughly.
