Not a huge zoo but located in the city's most beautiful park - child-friendly and free!

点评：Zoological parks may no longer evoke the same 'must-see' feeling for me as they did in my younger years, but it's still always a bit interesting to take a look and feel all the children's excited feeling about seeing exotic and exciting animals. At the same time, it's a bit strange to see giraffes 'freely' walking in Lyon... It's a bit of a fun and abstract environmental clash!
The zoo is centrally located in the large, beautiful Tete d'Or park and admission is free. There are also some restaurants and other amenities, mainly aimed at families with children. The facility seemed well-maintained, even though we didn't see many animals. Quite a lot of people, despite the early season (April). You can experience the zoo during part of a longer walk, where perhaps the botanical garden is most worth a visit. Don't forget to eat good ice cream!
