Mass spa in a run down building within beautiful grounds

点评：A really disappointing experience overall. It felt like we were on a mass spa production line. The whole facility is desperately in need of investment.
We paid more for a premium room but the bathroom was in such a poor state of repair we asked if there was another room. We were offered a discount to upgrade but the new (more expensive) room was exactly the same, only difference was coffee machine - but still rust in the bath and water damage to the bath panel.
The evening meal and breakfast weren’t great, poor quality and service as not enough staff on (40minutes to get coffees). Lunch was lovely, breadth of salads and healthy options and all well presented. We went a little later so I think the crowds had moved through by then.
The saving grace to our visit were the spa staff, treatments were superb, and the beautiful grounds.
It is in a truly stunning setting but needs more investment in the facilities and better crowd control to be the relaxing spa break it could be.
