Nice. Not the luxury experience we were hoping for though.
Champneys Forest Mere Spa的点评
点评：I bought my partner here for his birthday. We had a discounted stay for a single night - and even this I feel was too expensive for the experience we had.
Our stay was nice but not amazing.
The grounds are stunning and hotel is nice, very peaceful, but it does seem understaffed. The spa facilities are nice - but far too many guests to accommodate. Nowhere to place towels or sit later in the day.
Our room also wasn’t clean. We had splattered coffee (?) stains in the bathroom, multiple hairs from previous occupants and also a squashed insect left on the wall.
Breakfast and lunch options were not great, we didn’t stay for the lunch included in the package and went to a local pub instead.
Dinner was nice but all the nicer options came at a supplemented price.
Best to book treatments and restaurant reservations in advance as they couldn’t accommodate us for treatments during our stay, only the next day after checkout.
However, the options to pre book on website/email take you to “unsecure” versions of the sites which isn’t great.
