Very friendly, welcoming volunteers, suitable for old and young
Railworld Wildlife Haven的点评
点评：When planning our holiday to the Lake District, we knew we needed to plan a stop on the way to Railworld Wildlife Haven. We drove 3hrs from our home to get there.
We had been once before and our youngest son had asked to return ever since. This trip was in August, whereas our first trip was in December.
All of the volunteers were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We spent a long time watching the model trains outdoors, waiting for them to stop, so that my son could press the button to make them go again. We looked around the indoor model railways and my son asked what the button controlled and was shown that it turned a wind turbine on. The men running the indoor part were very enthusiastic. We then went to the little café, where again, we were greeted by a very friendly volunteer. He spoke to my son (just turned 3yrs) about the locomotives.
We didn't have time to look around the wildlife area on this occasion as we needed to get back on the road to our next destination.
We can't wait to come back soon.
