点评：A 5-10 minute taxi ride from Puerto Santiago cost approximately €5. A short walk down past the row of shops and restaurants tucked into the corner at the harbour you can find the very competent and helpful Baneza and co-worker/ instructor. After payment, paperwork and personal belongings locked in lockers we had a briefing.
On a whiteboard we were showed how to place ourselves, break, accelerate and what to do if we needed help. Once all 6 of us were satisfied we headed off in life jackets to a boat which took us out to the jet skies.
My partner and l had singles and the other four people chose doubles. We were clipped to the jet ski so if you fall off you are able to get back on.
Following the boat in decided formation we headed off with the cliffs to our right. Breathtaking! Fairly calm and easy to accelerate when needed.
Approximately 30 mins later we gathered in single file to follow the boat in and out of a little cave. Have photos taken and then swapped sides on the way back to the harbour. Cliffside was calmer by far.
Now on the more open-sea side of the boat l happily got drenched hitting waves with continuous bumpy landings as it was more choppy.
This was my first time on a jet ski! My partner had more experience and went a lot faster and “rode on top” of the waves more. No one went ahead of the boat at anytime, the doubles came off and everyone waited while the boat got to them to make sure they were ok before proceeding.
On our return, included in the price, you can shower, there are towels and toilets and decide if you want any photos.
I’m 62 this year and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.
