Le Cirque des Gens的点评
点评：A lovely trip in the late August sunshine. I parked in an area with plenty of space by Isla Cool Douce and Le Bistrot du Pont. Isla Cool Douce includes parking, so anyone going there would not be heading to the public car park. From there it was about a 45 min return walk to the main viewpoints over the middle of cirque de gens. Very pretty. An app with offline maps may be useful at a point or two but it was generally clear.
But what really makes this walk is the ability to then head down to a beautiful sandy river beach. Its got to be one of Europe's best river beaches, called Plage du Cirque de Gens. Its got plenty of open sand but also some tree shaded areas, so great for a picnic and swim in a beautiful natural setting and without paying anything (unlike the folk over the river at Isla Cool Douce). If you just want to come to the beach, look for Parking Grazel about a 10 min walk away, that is a lot closer than walking from the car park over the bridge.
