点评：We visited the falls from two observation points. Passing through the village of Calandula. Passing through the town of Calandula, we took a short track of asphalt road to reach the Quedas de Calandula (Quedas do Duque de Bragança) viewpoint. Here we parked the car and after a few meters we reached the viewpoint (a small concrete platform). From here the view of the waterfalls is impressive even if our visit took place in the dry season with a lower flow of water. From here, with a few steps on flat rocks, you can reach the edge of the waterfall, although a red line drawn on the rocks marks the limit that must not be exceeded, making it difficult to take good photos. Due it the best place to take photos is the viewpoint even if the high concrete protective wall is not optimal for taking photos of the person with the waterfall in the background. The other view point is the Posada Calandula. The starting point of the road that leads to the posada is located about ten kilometers south of Calandula on the road that leads to Malanje. It is a road in bad condition even if it is passable with a normal car. The posada is surrounded by a fence and to access it you have to pay an entrance fee if you are not spending your night there. From here you have an excellent frontal view of the falls. We had a drink at the bar seated with a fabulous view of the falls. From the posada there is a path that leads to the base of the waterfalls and to follow it you must accept to be led by a local guide. These waterfalls are definitely not to be missed if you visit Angola.
